For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…” 2 Chron. 16:9

If someone asked you the question: “What is the most important thing that God wants from us?”, what would you say?  Would you say that money is the most important thing that God wants from us?  Many good organizations like Adventure Pals can do a lot for the Lord when they have enough money to work with—but money is not the answer.

Would you say “our time”? A lot of good things can be accomplished when God’s people give of their time to serve the Lord—but time is not the answer either. So if it is not money and it is not time—two very important things, then what is it that God wants most of all from us?

The answer is a loyal heart. God’s Word, the Bible says that God looks over all the earth to find those whose hearts are loyal to Him. This means that God is always looking for people who will love Him and want to please to Him. There are many things that God must see when He looks down from heaven, good things as well as bad. But what He is interested in finding most of all however are people who hearts are loyal to Him. When He does find these people, He then wants to use them in a very special way to tell others about His great love in sending His Son to be the Savior of the world. But before our hearts can be loyal to Him, we must first give our hearts to the Lord and trust His Son, the Lord Jesus as our Savior.  Then, with His help we can do what He wants us to do.
